Below, you will find the basic fee structure for my services. If you are looking for something more time-consuming or complex than a standard wedding, additional fees may apply. Please contact me with the details and I will be glad to provide a quote. I am willing to travel, but if you are outside of the Jacksonville, FL area, I do ask that you cover reasonable travel expenses which will follow the below fee schedule. Please note that fees do occasionally change; during your consultation, you will be quoted the current prices as listed here on that day.

****This is for couples who just need to be legally married and want no ceremony; no guests. I typically choose a coffee shop or similar in the Arlington/Regency area, and I’m usually only available on weeknights, as weekends are reserved for full weddings.****

Add-on – Reserve Full Day $300
I do sometimes book more than one wedding on a day, as long as there is sufficient time between them. If your ceremony runs very late, requiring that I leave before your ceremony can be performed, so that I can be on time to the other event, there will be no refund, though I can schedule an elopement for you on another day. To avoid this possibility, if you would like to reserve my time for the entire day, you may add this fee to your package, and I will not book any other events on the day of your ceremony.
Complex Ceremonies – Custom Quote
I am willing to work with you on any kind of joining ceremony that is meaningful to you. That said, I am aware there are some very complex and time-consuming types of ceremonies in use. If your ceremony requires more time or complexity than a typical wedding, as described above, I will be glad to quote you a price for your ceremony once you provide the details of what is involved.
Deposit and Final Payment
A deposit of $100, is required at the time of booking. It is refundable as described in the terms of the contract.
The balance can be paid at any time, but the final payment is due no later than 1 week prior to your event.
Last Minute/Short Notice Elopements
In some cases, at my discretion, I will allow payment in-full on the day of the ceremony for short-notice elopements and paper signings (no deposit in advance). In such cases, payments may only be made in the form of cash, money orders, or PayPal. No personal checks will be accepted. If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice, there is no fee to reschedule, however I will require payment in full before I will confirm the new booking date. This requirement for full payment in advance will be clearly stated in the new contract.
Travel Fees
I do not ask for any millage fees for nearby weddings. It is not my goal to make money off of travel. I ask only for the minimum reasonable travel expenses to be covered, as described here:
There is no millage fee for the following locations:
Atlantic Beach
Fruit Cove
Jacksonville
Jacksonville Beach
Neptune Beach
Nocatee
Orange Park
Ponte Vedra
Sawgrass
St Johns (meaning the city of St Johns only, not the whole county)
Talbot Island (Big & Little)
Parking and Entry Fees: If your venue does not have free parking available, or if they require a fee to enter, such as with some parks or attractions, the cost of parking/entry will be added as a travel fee. For Historic Downtown St. Augustine, the fee will be equal to the current daily rate of the Parking Garage at the Visitor’s Center, unless your venue provides free parking.
Within Driving Distance
Millage Fee: For every location not listed above, there is a fee of $1.00 per mile between your venue and 9501 Arlington Expwy Jacksonville, FL 32225, as measured by Google Maps, one way.
Beyond Driving Distance
If your venue is so distant that driving is not practical, I ask that you cover the flight, and a rental car for enough time to cover the Rehearsal (if applicable) and Ceremony. All bookings will be given to you for review and approval before I book, so there will be no surprises. Please be advised that the best prices are generally available when booking early. I am a very experience traveler both domestic and internationally. I get discounts with several airlines, car rental agencies and hotels, and will always book the most reasonable rates I can find.
Flights: I fly from Jacksonville, FL (JAX). If your destination requires that I fly from a different airport, the driving expense would be added, as calculated above (example, for Orlando Intl Airport, the distance is 159 miles x $1 = $159.00 driving cost). Airline Ticket fee is due at time of flight booking, and is not refundable, as the airline will not refund the ticket once purchased.
Rental Car: I will book the least expensive option for an economy class car. Car rental fee is refundable only if cancellation is within the refundable period required by the car rental agency. In other words, if they refund me, I will refund you.
Accommodations: Regardless of if I drive or fly, if I will not be able to make it back home after the ceremony/rehearsal by a reasonable hour, or if I must come in the day before the ceremony for the rehearsal or early wedding out of town, then I ask that you cover the hotel expense. I get a discount with several different hotel chains and will be sure I book the most reasonable accommodations, and have them approved by you in advance. Hotel fee is refundable only if cancellation is within the refundable period required by the hotel. If they refund me, I will refund you.
